For me it just doesn’t get any better than this rolling fireplace made by Conmoto. Running on ethanol with a cool circular design I would just sit there watching the flames dance around the middle of it for hours on end. This is what looks like a double decker bus that has been converted into a 2 story caravan.  I would imagine it is nothing more than a ladder leading to the second floor but it still kind of looks cool even if it is a little dirty looking as well.

9 – If designers did caravan holidays…
Want a caravan that screams designer quality? Then you need to have a chat with “Mehrzeller” because they describe this as a “multicellular caravan” but I just call it awesome. Imagine the faces of people as you roll into the camp sight in this!

When Chris Haddon started doing research for his book “My Cool Caravan” little did he know that what he was going to see, because he saw some of the Worlds coolest vintage caravans  including this tiny 1 berth, it makes me wonder what he was pulling with!

Seen on a camp site in Germany this rather amazing Watermelon painted caravan stands out like a sore thumb and was the talking point of most people staying at the site. Oddly it was never seen again leaving many people to say that it was just a advertising company that had done it rather than a fan of watermelons.

Yes, what you are looking at really is nothing more than a caravan that is just a 1:1 million facsimile of earth! But when you are the “Rainbow Sheikh” you are are one of the richest people on earth so why not own a caravan that is just that! 9 – This pool is not a big pool, but it has an amazing view when you are in the pool. Perched high up on the mountain, the house is build on three levels. You get the illusion that you are sitting in a pool with no wall. Here again I have used 2 images to illustrate the great use of space and to get the best use of the location.

8 – Hotel Joule In Dallas. Part of the pool juts out from the building with only a thick pane of glass between swimmers and the city ten floors below. Now this is why you want to take a business trip.

7 – Living large. Not only does this pool blend in with the rest of the house, you get the illusion that you are surrounded by water. Don’t you just want to jump from the roof into the very inviting water.  This also illustrates how strong glass is.

6 – The unique 30 metres long swimming baths, in the Holiday Inn hotel, Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao. This gives new meaning to the word, using maximum space. Not only do you have a pool but below you have a great view that softens any concrete building making it stand out. I have been very privileged to have stayed in a hotel with a glass bottom pool situated on the top floor. When I swam I was actually petrified the glass bottom  would  crack to just fall out.

4 – OFTB(Out of the blue) is a a team of landscape architects and in-house pool builders based in Melbourne, Australia where this pool is located. You get the illusion that the stairs are part of the pool. Brilliant design, and you have to have faith that the glass will not crack or move if you have a earth tremor.

3 – Custom swimming pools have always fascinated us, and it’s always interesting to see a pool that flows seamlessly through the home itself. This is exactly the case with this custom indoor glass swimming pool that runs right through a contemporary home.

Located in Hampstead Village, London, United Kingdom, the pool is nestled at the heart of the 6,500 square foot house, completely surrounded by glass. The house along with the pool was designed by architects Paxton Locher. Other notable mentions of this incredible household include five bedrooms, a gym, media room, and even a party room. 1. The ISM Parinee Ohm Tower, a proposed 30 story luxury condominium tower in Mumbai, India includes convenient glass-walled balcony pools. The tower was designed by Hong Kong-based James Law Cybertecture. I do admire the architecture, but my question is how do you clean the pool?  But it’s an amazing pool to cool off in.

Now this is impressive, this is a wrought iron gate made from an old bicycle! While much like mine it well never be rode again it does indeed look amazing.

A company called “D-Bodhi” has decided to make some rather amazing stools from old children’s trike’s and uni-cycles, attach some cool blue neon lights to the bottom of the main eating bar and you have a cycle that will never be rode again, but looks brilliant.

Now this is more my cup of tea, nothing too complicated but yet the results of hanging an old bike on the garden fence then attaching a few hanging plants looks nothing short of stunning and such a simple idea to replicate. I wonder if it would work with a mountain bike!?
